Hi there! It’s nice to meet you!

My name is Sydney, and I am SO happy you’re here! I, like so many others, am a lover of all food. Unfortunately, my body had a different idea. A little while ago, I started getting really sick and was diagnosed with NAFLD, which meant I had to drastically change my lifestyle in terms of the foods I was eating.

Now about 6 years later, I am amazed at how far I have come. I have more energy and a new appreciation for the flavor that different foods bring to the table. I also discovered a passion for understanding the properties ingredients possess and how they impact the body. I was determined to love food again and to live freely, but healthily, with my new lifestyle.

At first, figuring out I had NAFLD was really scary, but I have come to view it more as a blessing. I was learning so much that I decided it was important for me to share the knowledge I had accumulated. If not only to help people like me who have no idea how to be friends with their bodies again, but also for those who are looking to become more intentional with their lifestyle in ways that are still enjoyable. So, I decided to write a cookbook, called Live{r} Happy - hopefully one of many! If you have some time, I would love for you to check it out!
